Comprehensive Medical Servcies

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Corrections, is seeking proposals from contractors to provide comprehensive medical services to inmates. The contractor will be responsible for providing all health care services, including general and specialty care, mental health services, and vision services. The contractor must meet or exceed the standards of care established by the American Correctional Association and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The contract will be for a period of time to be determined, with the option for renewal. • The contractor will be responsible for providing medical services to inmates in all correctional facilities. • The contractor will be required to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all medical staff are properly licensed and certified. • The contractor will be required to provide a comprehensive plan for health care services during a pandemic or public health emergency.
