On-Call Low Voltage Network Cabling Services

The City of Lawrence, Kansas, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive structured cabling services at designated municipal facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, certifying, labeling, and documenting structured cabling systems and associated components to support reliable data, voice, video, and security communications. The contract will be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a one-year initial term and four additional one-year option periods. Some key services that may be included are: • Installation of copper and fiber optic cabling • Installation of patch panels, telecommunications racks and cabinets, and fiber backbone infrastructure • Wireless access point mounting and security camera mounting • Testing and certification of installed cables • Provision of as-built documentation and training to City of Lawrence IT staff.
