LIQUID CALCIUM CHLORIDE

The Town of Manchester is soliciting bids for Liquid Calcium Chloride to be delivered in bulk tank wagon loads. The contract term will be from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027, with an option to extend for up to three additional one-year periods. The annual estimated quantity is between 4,000 and 8,000 gallons, and the bidder must provide a statement or evidence that the Calcium Chloride furnished complies with the specification. The town reserves the right to reject any bid and to waive technical defects. • The bidder must provide a completed MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET (MSDS) or SAFETY DATA SHEET (SDS) for all chemicals they will supply under this contract. • The bidder must comply with all federal and state safety standards and regulations. • The bidder must indemnify and hold harmless the town for all damages assessed against the town as a result of the bidder's failure to comply with said standards and regulations. • The contract price shall be held firm for the original contract term, with no price increase allowed during the original contract term. • The contractor may request a price adjustment beyond the original contract term, but any price increase must be approved by the town.
