Description
The State of Tennessee is seeking a qualified collection agency to provide statewide collection services for all state agency accounts, including “health accounts” such as penalties and bad checks. Compensation is based on a percentage of monies collected, with a five‑year base term and possible extensions.
• Provide full‑cycle debt collection (letters, calls, skip‑trace, ACH remittance) for an estimated $3‑5 million in outstanding balances across multiple agencies.
• Maintain licensing (Tennessee collection‑service license) and ACA membership; meet strict privacy, HIPAA, and cyber‑security requirements (SOC 2 Type 2, encryption, incident reporting).
• Deliver monthly ACH payments, quarterly and on‑demand reports via a secure web portal, and respond to agency inquiries within five business days.
