Insurance Broker of Record / Fee Based Consultant

The County of Greenville is seeking a licensed broker to provide insurance brokerage services for its self-insured medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. The selected broker will work closely with the County's team to provide high-quality, cost-effective insurance solutions. The contract will be for one year with the possibility of four annual renewals. The broker will be responsible for plan selection and installation, negotiating contract rates and terms, reviewing and facilitating summary plan documents, and providing actuarial underwriting services. • The County is seeking a broker with experience in managing similar accounts and services for public sector clients. • The broker must have knowledge of self-funded medical plans, government entities, and relevant areas of expertise. • The broker will be required to provide references and demonstrate financial stability. • The County reserves the right to reject any proposal that does not meet the requirements outlined in the RFP.
