Description

The US Air Force is seeking qualified design firms to provide Master Planning Services at Vance Air Force Base (AFB) in Oklahoma. The selected firms will be required to submit a Standard Form 330 (SF330) package, which will be evaluated based on their professional qualifications, specialized experience, and technical competence. The scope of work includes revising, refreshing, and developing Master Plans, including Installation Development Plans, District Plans, Area Development Plans, and related community planning services. The contract is contemplated to be firm fixed-priced task orders over a five-year period, contingent on Government funding. Some key points to consider include: • The SF330 package should be limited to 30 numbered pages of easily readable text. • The package will be evaluated based on the firm's professional qualifications, specialized experience, and technical competence. • The contract is expected to be awarded to a pool of pre-qualified firms, who may be offered the opportunity to submit proposals for future task orders. • The task orders will be firm fixed-priced, and the contract will be for a period of five years. • The US Air Force is seeking firms with experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and the use of recovered materials.

Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $10,000,000

The budget for this contract is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific amount. However, based on the scope of work, which includes Master Planning Services for a military base, the contract value could be substantial. The US Air Force typically spends millions of dollars on construction and planning projects, and this contract could be worth anywhere from $1 million to $10 million or more over the five-year period. The actual budget will depend on the number and value of task orders awarded to the selected firms. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the projects, the number of task orders awarded, and the level of competition among the pre-qualified firms.
