MUNICIPAL FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES

The City of Kennewick is seeking a financial advisor to provide municipal financial advisory services, with a focus on Washington State municipal regulations. The primary role of the financial advisor is to support the debt issuance activity of the City. The services to be provided include providing advice on capital financing, developing innovative solutions to funding requirements, making recommendations on bond issues, and reviewing and making recommendations on ordinances and official statements. The City is looking for a firm with experience working with municipal clients and knowledge of bond issuances. The selected consultant will be expected to provide a team of professionals with relevant experience and expertise. • The consultant will be responsible for evaluating possible financing options for the City. • The consultant will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to the City's funding requirements. • The consultant will be responsible for making recommendations on the timing, sizing, maturity schedules, call provisions, and other details of bond issues. • The consultant will be responsible for reviewing and making appropriate recommendations on all ordinances, official statements, and other documents necessary for debt issuance.
