Kinship Navigator Program

The Vermont Department for Children and Families is seeking proposals for the Kinship Navigator Program. The program aims to support kinship caregivers, who are relatives or family friends, in providing care for children when their parents are unable to do so. The program will help caregivers navigate various systems, including child welfare, aging services, education, housing, and healthcare. The selected bidder will be expected to sign an agreement with the State, including the Standard Grant Form and Attachment C. The contract will obligate the bidder to provide services and/or products identified in their bid, at the prices listed. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing kinship navigation services to support caregivers • Coordinating with child welfare, schools, courts, healthcare providers, and community organizations • Ensuring equitable access to services statewide • Collecting and reporting performance data • Implementing continuous quality improvement processes
