The School District of Pickens County is seeking a qualified auctioneer to provide on‑demand, indefinite‑quantity auction services for surplus property. The contractor must handle advertising, licensing, staffing, equipment, collection of proceeds, tax remittance, post‑auction reporting, and monitoring of item pickup, all on a commission‑only basis. The award will be a best‑value (price + qualifications) selection and the contract runs for an initial one‑year term with up to four one‑year extensions. • Provide full auctioneer services (advertising, licensing, staffing, equipment, on‑site execution). • Collect and remit sales tax, deliver net proceeds to the District within 10 business days after each auction. • Submit detailed post‑auction reports (consignment recap, buyer list, tax report, settlement statement) within 10 business days. • Maintain required insurance, hold a valid South Carolina auctioneer license, and supply three references.
