Request for Qualifications Central Connecticut Loop Trail (CCLT) Design

The Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (RiverCOG) is seeking a Consulting Engineering firm to provide topographic survey, engineering, and public outreach support services for the preparation of preliminary design plans and associated documents for the Central Connecticut Loop Trail (CCLT) project. The selected firm may also be requested to perform final design, environmental permitting, and other related services. The project is expected to be completed in a timely manner, and the firm will be evaluated and selected based on design and technical competence, capacity and capability to perform the work, past record of performance, and knowledge of Federal, State, and Municipal procedures. • The project involves the preparation of preliminary design plans and associated documents for the CCLT. • The selected firm will provide topographic survey, engineering, and public outreach support services. • The firm will be evaluated and selected based on design and technical competence, capacity and capability to perform the work, past record of performance, and knowledge of Federal, State, and Municipal procedures. • The project is expected to be completed in a timely manner. • The projected construction cost for Phase 1 is expected to be in the range of $2,000,000.
