Refuse Collection Vehicles and Supporting Equipment

The City of Tempe and 1GPA are seeking proposals for refuse collection vehicles and supporting equipment. The contract will be for an initial term of one year with the potential for four one-year extensions. The contractor will be required to provide firm fixed pricing for market basket refuse collection vehicle configurations and minimum percentage discounts for cooperative purchases. The contractor will also be required to provide service and support capabilities, maintenance support, technical assistance, warranty administration, and parts availability for all vehicles, equipment, and systems proposed under this contract. • The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, documentation, training, warranty support, and related services necessary to furnish refuse collection vehicles and related equipment for the City of Tempe and participating 1GPA Members. • The contractor shall provide vehicles and equipment that meet the technical compliance requirements, operational suitability, vehicle and equipment configurations, system integration, safety features, technology capabilities, and overall quality of the proposed solutions. • The contractor shall provide documentation and certifications, where relevant, including EPA engine certifications, CARB Executive Orders, fuel-system certifications, EV and hybrid safety certifications, noise-level testing documentation, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), compliance certifications, and environmental documentation.
