NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center is conducting market research for comprehensive tugboat and vessel support services for the NASA Barge Pegasus. The agency seeks information on commercial and non‑commercial providers capable of (1) towing the 310‑ft barge between NASA facilities and shipyards, (2) day‑to‑day technical maintenance, (3) detailed technical assessments for upgrades, and (4) shipyard‑based repairs and modernization in accordance with ABS and USCG standards. Respondents should detail capabilities, pricing structures, crew qualifications, past performance, risk‑mitigation plans, and rough cost estimates. The RFI is purely informational; no contract award is guaranteed.
