Dry-Dock: USCG STA CAPE MAY (45665) FY27 UWB

The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting a commercial contractor to perform a comprehensive dry‑dock availability on the 45‑foot RB‑M cutter (Hull #45665) stationed at Coast Guard Station Cape May, NJ for FY 2027. The work includes general welding, ultrasonic testing, hull plating inspection, fender repair, diesel fuel tank cleaning and inspection, alignment of main diesel engines to generators and water‑jet drives, water‑jet inspection, anode renewal, electrical isolation, fuel tank defueling/refueling, preservation of non‑skid pads, marine chemist services, provision of temporary services, sea‑trial support, and preservation of the lazarette bilge. The contract period of performance is 06 Jan 2027 – 04 Feb 2027 (≈30 days). The contractor must comply with multiple Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) specifications, Coast Guard drawings, and federal safety/environmental regulations, provide fire‑watch personnel, maintain environmental protection plans, and submit required inspection reports (CIRs) and fire‑safety plans. All work is to be performed at the Coast Guard facility; the government will provide certain drawings, technical publications, and some government‑furnished property, while the contractor supplies all equipment, labor, and consumables. • Dry‑dock repairs for a 45‑ft aluminum cutter (RB‑M) – hull, propulsion, fuel, and ancillary systems. • 20 detailed work items covering welding, NDE, mechanical alignment, corrosion control, preservation, and sea‑trial support. • Must follow SFLC Specs 0000, 0740, 5550, 6310, 8634, 8635 and applicable CFR‑29 safety rules. • Contractor provides fire‑watch, environmental manager, temporary services, shore power, and required permits. • Period of performance: 06 Jan 2027 to 04 Feb 2027 (≈30 days).
