FY 27 RFA for Forensic Evaluations

The State of Colorado is seeking proposals for forensic evaluations. The selected contractor will be responsible for conducting competency evaluations, sanity/mental condition evaluations, and providing testimony and court services. The contractor will be required to provide all-inclusive rates per evaluation, including necessary addendums, and will not be reimbursed for travel or other expenses unless indicated. The contractor will also be required to provide itemized documentation for approved travel expenses, which will be capped at $1500 per occurrence. • The contractor will be required to conduct evaluations in various locations, including inpatient, bond, in-custody, and hold & wait settings. • The contractor will be required to provide information on their availability for conducting evaluations, including their location and any limitations on scheduling. • The contractor will be required to comply with the State of Colorado's mileage reimbursement rate and travel policies. • The contractor will be required to provide a rate sheet with proposed fees for each type of evaluation.
