Skid Units for OFD Brush Trucks

The City of Omaha is seeking bids for the provision of four complete skid units for the Omaha Fire Department's brush trucks. The skid units must be designed to fit a 2026 Ford F-350 regular cab, SRW, 8ft. Box, 4x4, 7.3 gas motor pickup with tailgate. The units will include a pump, tank, skid frame, intake, discharge, booster reel, and fuel cell. The pump must meet or exceed the NFPA 1906 performance rating of 50GPM @ 150PSI. The tank must be able to contain 250-gallons of water. The skid frame must be made of aluminum material and be 46” in width by 94” in length by 2” in height. The key features of the skid units include: • A CET 20HP-MR pump with a 4-cycle gasoline Honda GX630 series engine • A UPF DEFENDER 2CE tank with a 250-gallon capacity • A skid frame made of aluminum material • Intake and discharge plumbing with stainless-steel piping and fittings • A booster hose reel with electric rewind option and hand crank back up • A fuel cell with a 5-gallon capacity The bid will be for four complete skid units, and the winning bidder will be responsible for installing the units.
