Description

Metropolitan Government of Nashville is seeking a qualified vendor to supply new, authentic, retail‑ready golf merchandise (clubs, balls, apparel, bags, accessories, and Metro‑branded promotional items) for resale at its park‑based golf facilities. The contract is structured as an IDIQ with no guaranteed minimum or maximum purchase quantity; orders will be placed on an as‑needed basis via individual purchase orders. Suppliers must submit a brand‑survey (Round 1) by 10 Oct 2026 and, if successful, provide competitive pricing (Round 2) by 15 Oct 2026. The award will be based on the highest discount per brand/item. All deliveries are FOB Destination, supplier‑prepaid, with a typical 7‑30 day delivery window. Required certifications include insurance (General, Products, and Automobile liability), EBO compliance, and numerous affidavits. • Supply a broad range of golf‑related products, limited to “sole‑brand” items (e.g., Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, etc.) with optional approved substitutions. • Multi‑step solicitation: brand survey (pass/fail) → cost proposal; award based on highest discount per SKU. • No minimum order quantity; Metro will issue purchase orders as demand arises; supplier must provide tracking, invoicing, and warranty documentation. • Mandatory attachments: brand survey, vendor checklist, subcontractor form, contract acceptance, and all required affidavits; failure to attach renders the offer non‑responsive.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $2,000,000

Because the solicitation does not disclose a total contract ceiling, we must infer likely spend from the scope (full range of golf merchandise for multiple park facilities) and typical municipal sports‑equipment budgets. Assuming 10‑15 park locations, each ordering roughly $15k‑$150k of goods per year, total annual spend could fall between $200k and $2 million. The IDIQ may run for several years, so the cumulative award could be in the low‑to‑mid‑single‑digit millions. This estimate reflects product variety, volume uncertainty, and the “highest discount” award method.
