DMACC Industrial Trades/Diesel Building Furniture

Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) is soliciting qualified vendors to supply and install a full suite of classroom, lab, office and common‑area furniture for its new Industrial Trades/Diesel Building on the Ankeny campus. The contract covers a detailed bill‑of‑materials that includes task chairs, four‑leg chairs, stools, upholstered chairs, stack stools, tables, conference tables, occasional tables, and modular lounge pieces. All goods must conform to the attached specifications and drawings, be delivered to the site, assembled (where applicable), and fully installed. Installation must be completed by December 10 2026, with punch‑out (final adjustments) by December 16‑17 2026. The awarded vendor is responsible for shipping, handling, on‑site assembly, and coordination with DMACC’s inspection and acceptance process. The contract includes warranty, insurance, and compliance requirements, and payment will be made within 30 days of invoice receipt, subject to acceptance. • Provide and install approximately 500 individual furniture items across classrooms, labs, offices, and common spaces. • Meet detailed dimensional and finish specifications (color, caster type, upholstery, etc.). • Deliver, assemble, and install on‑site with a hard deadline of Dec 10 2026 (install) and Dec 16‑17 2026 (punch‑out). • Maintain required insurance (CGL $2 M, Auto $1 M, Workers’ Comp, Umbrella $1 M) and warranties. • Submit a detailed price per item and total bid via DMACC’s online bidding system by 12:45 PM CT on 10/7/2026. • Respond to any questions by 12:30 PM CT on 9/30/2026.
