Communications Tower Ground Lease

The Town of Tyrone is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified respondents for the lease of municipal real estate for the purpose of erecting and/or maintaining a telecommunications tower and storing cellular equipment. The site location is 145 Commerce Drive, Tyrone, Georgia 30290. The leased area will consist of approximately 0.118 acres. • The initial term of the lease may not exceed ten years, and the renewal term may not exceed one term of no more than ten years. • The Lessee shall use the leased property only for the purpose of installing, operating, modifying, maintaining, developing, and removing a telecommunications tower or cellular communications service system facility. • The Lessee shall provide sufficient space on the telecommunications tower for the Fayette County 911 Center to install/maintain radio equipment/antennas. • The Lessee shall be required to obtain all permits necessary to meet all applicable federal, state, and local statutes, bylaws, and regulations. • The Lessee shall procure and maintain in force and effect throughout the term of the lease a commercial general liability insurance policy with a minimum limit of $1,000,000.
