Special Ops Breaching Equipment

The Illinois State Police are seeking bids for Special Ops Breaching Equipment, including a Breaching Door and Frame System, Manual Entry Ram, Collapsible Halligan, Collapsible Sledge, and Vehicle Assisted Breaching Hook. Deliveries must be made to 4700 Rodger St, Springfield, IL 62703, and must be received within 60 days after receipt of the order. • The Breaching Door and Frame System must be fabricated from heavy, high-strength structural steel and reinforced to withstand repeated high-impact training evolutions. • The Manual Entry Ram must be constructed from 100% solid hardened steel and have a balanced forward handle for one-handed carry and rapid deployment. • The Collapsible Halligan must have a drop-forged head manufactured from high-alloy steel and a heat-treated aluminum handle with an anti-slip knurled grip pattern. • The Collapsible Sledge must have a head manufactured from machined, heat-treated chromium/molybdenum alloy steel and a high-strength alloy shaft. • The Vehicle-Assisted Breaching Hook must be manufactured from high-strength, heat-treated alloy steel and have a minimum working load of 13,000 lbs.
