The City of Reno is soliciting bids to rehabilitate Manhole “E” and associated piping at the Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility. The work includes demolition of the existing manhole, installation of a new polymer‑concrete manhole, replacement and re‑configuration of inlet/outlet pipelines, provision of temporary bypass pumping systems, site grading, surface restoration, and optional alternates for coating downstream assets or in‑situ pipe rehabilitation. • Replace Manhole E with a polymer‑concrete unit and reinstall associated pipe connections. • Provide temporary bypass pumping to keep the treatment plant operational during construction. • Offer bid alternates for CIPP (cured‑in‑place pipe) rehabilitation and protective coating of downstream infrastructure. • Contract duration is 200 calendar days with liquidated damages of $1,000 per day after completion. • Estimated contract value $800‑$900 K; bid bond 5 % and performance/labor bonds 100 %.
