Ice Skating Rink

The City of Dublin is seeking a qualified contractor to design, install, operate, and later remove a seasonal outdoor ice‑skating rink at Riverside Crossing Park to support the city’s Christkindlmarkt winter market. The contractor must supply all rink equipment (modular piping, refrigeration, Zamboni, lighting, sound, fencing, ticket‑sale structures, skate rental inventory, etc.), provide certified installation technicians, manage daily operations (ice maintenance, ticketing, skate rentals, first‑aid, security), and handle removal after the season. The City will provide three‑phase electrical service and utility connections, and will pay associated utility fees. The contract is initially for two years with the possibility of two one‑year extensions, and all revenue from admissions and skate rentals belongs to the operator, who may propose a revenue‑sharing model. • Provide a 40 ft × 80 ft modular ice surface with refrigeration ≤ 55 °F. • Deliver and operate all supporting equipment (Zamboni, lighting, sound, ticketing booth, skate rental inventory). • Coordinate installation (Oct 5‑12 2026), operation (Nov 18 2026‑Mar 15 2027), and removal (Mar 15‑Apr 1 2027) to align with the Christkindlmarkt schedule. • Submit sealed proposals (three bound copies or one PDF) by 2:00 p.m. ET on August 14 2026.
