Professional Moving Services

The Orleans Parish School Board is seeking professional moving services to safely and efficiently relocate assets from designated facilities to specified destinations. The selected firm will be responsible for pre-move services, packing and preparation, transportation, delivery and installation, and post-move services. The contract term will be for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The evaluation criteria will include qualifications, experience, and cost-effectiveness. • The moving company will be responsible for conducting a site visit and walkthrough of all pick-up and drop-off locations. • The company will work with NOLA-PS Asset Management staff to confirm inventory lists. • The company will provide a detailed move plan and timeline. • The company will supply all necessary packing materials, crates, labels, and equipment. • The company will tag and label all items for organized transport and delivery.
