The State of Washington, through the Office of the Insurance Commissioner, is seeking proposals to lease approximately 59,366 BOMA rentable square feet of office space in Thurston County (preferably downtown Olympia, Lacey, or Tumwater). The lease must commence on 1 April 2028 for a minimum five‑year term (up to ten years) and include a range of performance and sustainability requirements, such as EV charging, backup power, high‑speed data, energy‑use intensity ≤ 50, and compliance with Washington building and ADA codes. The agency requires proof of control of the property, prevailing‑wage compliance, and a completed Lease Proposal Form with detailed cost breakdowns.
