The County of Missoula is seeking a PRCA‑member stock contractor to provide all livestock, arena personnel, feed, equipment, and production services for its annual five‑night PRCA‑sanctioned rodeo (≈3,000 seats) in August 2026 and 2027, with an option to extend up to five additional years. The contractor must supply a full complement of rough‑stock and timed‑event animals (horses, steers, bulls, sheep, etc.), manage arena direction, recruit contestants, handle animal welfare, and cover all feed and gear needs, while coordinating with County‑provided facilities, insurance, and support services. The contract includes added‑money allowances ($20K for Xtreme Bulls night and $7.5K‑$15K per rodeo event) and requires audited financial statements, insurance coverage, and references. Preference is given to disadvantaged businesses, local Missoula firms, and those participating in the Montana Apprentice Program.
• Provide all rodeo livestock (bareback horses, saddle broncs, steers, bulls, mutton‑busting sheep, breakaway calves) and related equipment.
• Deliver arena staffing (director, secretaries, timers, bullfighters, handlers) and full production oversight for each night.
• Meet insurance, workers’ compensation, and PRCA animal‑welfare standards; submit audited financials and references.
