The Town of Vienna is soliciting proposals from qualified and properly licensed firms to provide an outdoor fireworks display for the Town of Vienna’s Independence Day Celebration. The Town’s preferred and intended date for the fireworks display is July 4, 2026. The proposal shall cover the total cost of all labor, security, insurance, permits, materials, personnel transportation, supplies, fireworks, equipment, pyrotechnicians, etc. as necessary for or incidental to properly and safely set-up, fire and dismantle an aerial display.
• The fireworks display shall be designed for a site with an established minimum of 300-foot fallout radius.
• All shells, effects, and firing methods must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and be approved by the Fairfax County Fire Marshal.
• The total duration of the fireworks display shall not exceed twenty (20) minutes.
• The Town prefers displays that emphasize quality of effects, timing, and visual layering, rather than sustained high-volume firing throughout the show, except during the grand finale.
• The contractor shall provide a detailed description of the show, including shell counts, and a materials listing of shells and a cost per unit and materials cost per shell.
• The contractor shall provide necessary safety equipment per Fairfax County Fire Marshal, including long sleeve cotton shirts and trousers, hard hat, eye and ear protection, and proper footwear.
