All Up Round plus Canister Simulator (AURCS)

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is seeking information from industry regarding the ability and capacity to fabricate the All Up Round plus Canister Simulator (AURCS). The AURCS is a developmental item that has been designed by NUWCDIVNPT. The scope of work includes fabrication, testing, and delivery of AURCS units, as well as development of engineering change proposals and establishment of a proactive supply chain and obsolescence management program. • The AURCS requires precision machining and extensive welding that must meet stringent standards. • The project involves handling, manipulating, fabricating, and assembling large and heavy components. • The success of the project is dependent on meeting a strict delivery schedule. • Respondents are requested to provide information on their company's capability and qualifications for this requirement, including facility and infrastructure capabilities, precision machining expertise, welding program and personnel, schedule adherence, and past performance.
