Insurance Broker Services – South Huntington Union Free School District

The South Huntington Union Free School District is seeking a qualified insurance brokerage firm to serve as its broker of record, providing comprehensive risk‑management advisory, policy placement, claims monitoring, and related consulting services for a one‑year term starting July 1 2026. • Act as broker of record for all existing and future insurance lines (CGL, Auto, Property, Cyber, Excess, Professional Liability, etc.) and place coverage only with District authorization. • Deliver an initial risk‑profile report within ~60 days of award and provide annual updates, premium forecasts, and recommendations to eliminate gaps or reduce exposure. • Perform on‑site visits, training, and review contractor certificates; monitor claims, negotiate with carriers, and handle dispute resolution. • Must hold a NY State insurance license, demonstrate experience with K‑12 or municipal entities, and carry required broker‑level insurance (CGL, Auto, E&O, Cyber, Excess, etc.). • Proposals due March 4 2026 (sealed, hard‑copy only); mandatory certifications include non‑collusion, sexual‑harassment policy, Iran Divestment Act compliance, and FOIL protection notice.
