Professional Nursing Services

The Ellisville State School (South Mississippi Regional Center) is seeking a qualified staffing agency to provide professional nursing services—including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)—to its community homes in Poplarville, Wiggins, Gautier, and Biloxi, MS. The contract will run from January 1 2027 to June 30 2027 (six months) with the possibility of up to four one‑year renewals. Bids must be submitted by October 19 2026, with opening on October 20 2026. The award is anticipated on October 23 2026. Vendors must demonstrate at least five years of similar staffing experience, have placed a minimum of 40 nursing employees in the past two years, maintain an office in the SMRC area, and possess required certifications (HCSS, state business registration, etc.). The contractor must supply 24/7 coverage, conduct background and abuse registry checks, provide licensing documentation, and meet extensive health, safety, and compliance requirements.
