Registry Contract

The County of San Mateo is seeking a qualified vendor to serve as the sole provider of temporary nursing registry staffing services for San Mateo Medical Center. The contractor will supply a broad range of clinical personnel—including RNs, pharmacists, lab technicians, radiologists, PTs, peri‑operative managers, project managers, and respiratory therapists—on an as‑needed basis, ensuring all staff hold unrestricted California licenses and required certifications. Key responsibilities include rigorous health and background vetting, credentialing, 24/7 administrative support, real‑time utilization reporting, compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards, and maintenance of required insurance (general liability, professional liability, cyber liability, etc.). The agreement is a five‑year term, with evaluation based on project approach, firm and team qualifications, and price, plus local‑business preference points.
