The Vermont Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking bids for engraved handguns to support its daily operations throughout the state. The contract will be for a period of 2 years with an option to renew for up to 3 additional 12-month periods. Bidders must provide details concerning their form of business organization, company size and resources, and describe their capabilities and particular experience relevant to the solicitation requirements. The bidder must quote each handgun separately, and the engraving shall be quoted with and without engraving. An Armorer’s Training Course for up to 15 participants must be provided, preferably offered by the same bidder. • The contract requires the provision of 310 GLOGLAWPA455SB02MOS8A3 GLOCK 45 G45 GEN5 MOS8 HGA 9MM 4.0 IN BBL BOF/UCSR AIMPOINT COA BLACK 3, 17RD MAGAZINES with factory installed GPT (Glock performance trigger) engraved with the Vermont State Police SEAL. • The contract requires the provision of 95 GLOGLAWPX48 GLOCK 48X G48X MOS8 HGA 9MM 4.0 IN BBL BOF/UCSR AIMPOINT COA 5LB BLACK 3 MAGAZINES MOS W, FRONT RAIL, engraved with the Vermont State Police SEAL. • The contract requires the trade-in of the Vermont State Police current duty handguns, which consist of SIG P320 and S&W SHIELD. • The contract requires the provision of training, including an Armorer’s Training Course for up to 15 participants. • The contract requires the bidder to provide a written warranty for each product, which must be based on commercial use and shall extend for a minimum term of one year from the date a product is available for use by the purchaser.
