MIDD-025-009 Library Renovation-Architectural Services

The Town of Middletown is seeking a qualified architectural firm to provide design and related services for the renovation of the Middletown Public Library. The selected firm will be responsible for providing a comprehensive design package, including schematic design, design development, and construction documents. The firm will also be required to provide construction administration services, including attending job site meetings, reviewing shop drawings and product data, and monitoring conformance to design intent. • The project includes architectural design, building and fire code expertise, acoustical engineering, structural engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. • The firm will be required to provide a detailed cost estimate and identify opportunities for value engineering. • The firm will be required to provide a staffing plan, including the qualifications and experience of key project team members. • The firm will be required to provide references from current and previous clients, highlighting successful delivery of similar projects. • The firm will be evaluated based on their experience, qualifications, and approach to the project, as well as their ability to provide the required services and meet the project schedule.
