26-240-001 Bid for Purchase of One or More Emergency Medical Vehicle

The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors is seeking bids for the purchase of one or more emergency medical vehicles (ambulances) to support its EMS department. Technical (unpriced) proposals are accepted by July 21, 2026, after which qualified vendors will be invited to submit priced bids. The reverse auction will occur on July 27, 2026. Full specifications, bid packages, and the bid file are available for download (or can be obtained in person at the Office of Procurement). Bidders may submit technical proposals electronically via Central Bidding or in sealed envelopes at the County’s Office of Procurement. The agency reserves the right to amend specifications and extend the auction date if needed. • Technical proposals due by 10:00 a.m. on July 21, 2026. • Qualified vendors invited to participate in a reverse auction on July 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. CDT. • Bid documents (PDF) are downloadable; specifications can also be obtained from the County website or the Procurement office. • All bids must comply with the provided specifications; the County may reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
