Construction Services for NCDOT Project U-5945 Signal System Communications Upgrade *Re-advertisement*

The City of Wilson is seeking a contractor to provide construction services for the NCDOT Project U-5945 Signal System Communications Upgrade. The project involves upgrading the existing traffic signal system throughout the city with new replacement signals, upgrading signal cabinets and controllers, and interconnecting all traffic signals and CCTV cameras to the State network via fiber optic cable. The contractor will be responsible for providing turnkey fiber construction services, including underground conduit and cable installation, aerial cable installation, and transition pole riser installation. The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal regulations, including those related to safety, traffic control, and environmental protection. • The project requires the contractor to work in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Transportation's (NCDOT) standards and specifications. • The contractor must provide regular progress reporting and coordinate its construction schedule with Greenlight and its designated project management personnel. • The contractor must ensure that all work is completed by the NCDOT LET date of April 28, 2026. • The contractor must provide a primary point of contact to Greenlight for the duration of the project and attend regular project status and management meetings.
