VILLAGE OF GURNEE PUBLIC WORKS, UST SYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The Village of Gurnee is seeking bids for the UST System Replacement Project at the Public Works Facility. The project includes the removal of existing fuel systems, soil remediation, and installation of new fuel systems, including a 12,000-gallon double-wall FRP gasoline UST system and an 8,000-gallon double-wall FRP diesel fuel UST system. The work will also include the installation of new product piping, dispensers, a fuel management system, and a fuel island canopy. • The project requires the removal of concrete and asphalt pavement, as well as the demolition of the existing canopy structure. • The contractor will be responsible for soil remediation work and the installation of new raised concrete fuel islands. • The project includes the installation of new fuel management systems and fuel island canopies. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and workplace safety. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Public Works offices.
