REINSURANCE INTERMEDIARY SERVICES

The State Fiscal Accountability Authority, Office of State Procurement, on behalf of the South Carolina State Accident Fund (SAF), is seeking proposals from brokers qualified and licensed to assist the SAF in obtaining reinsurance coverage available within the marketplace. The SAF seeks to select one insurance broker to provide reinsurance program design, comprehensive risk management, and reinsurance market placement. The contract will be for a five-year term with no renewal options. The proposal should include the Offeror's qualifications, experience, and approach to meeting the requirements set out in the project overview. • The Offeror should have experience with projects of a similar size and/or scope, specifically as it relates to AASCIF clients and/or other governmental insurance pools. • The Offeror should provide information on their philosophy when it comes to reinsurance placement. • The Offeror should discuss their understanding of SAF's business operations and mission. • The Offeror should provide information on their approach to the needs of this particular account.
