Historic Preservation Services

The City of Hot Springs is seeking a qualified consultant to revise the Central Avenue Historic District Design Guidelines Handbook. The selected firm will provide graphic design skills, expertise in modernizing historic preservation design guidelines, and facilitate public engagement. The scope of services includes handbook design, content, production, and project management. The City is looking for a firm with specialized experience and technical competence in historic preservation services. • The consultant will provide a publication of no more than 80 pages, including illustrations, photographs, and drawings. • The consultant will review adopted regulations and plans, prepare three drafts, and incorporate revisions into a final document. • The consultant will facilitate public engagement, document community input, and recommend an outreach strategy. • The consultant will produce collateral print and digital materials to educate stakeholders. • The project is expected to be completed by May 14, 2027.
