Description

The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) at Hoover Dam is seeking a contractor to procure and deliver a set of new, OEM‑sourced pressure relief valves (PRVs) that match exact size, pressure, flow‑rate, and connection specifications for existing pressure vessels. The contractor must provide technical data sheets for approval before purchase, deliver all valves in a single shipment to the Hoover Dam Central Warehouse, and submit proof of purchase and a delivery schedule. Payments are lump‑sum, with two‑thirds due after purchase and the remainder upon successful delivery. The performance period is 90 days from award. • 55 PRVs of various sizes (¼” to 2 ½”) and pressure ratings (50–470 psi) required. • All valves must be new, OEM, and meet ASME BPVC codes. • Technical data approval required before purchase; single‑delivery only. • Delivery window: Mon‑Fri, 7:30 am‑3:30 pm PT, excluding federal holidays. • Lump‑sum payment: 67 % after purchase, 33 % upon delivery. • BOR provides warehouse space, forklift, and basic facilities.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $300,000

Based on the quantity (55 valves) and typical unit costs for new OEM pressure‑relief valves ranging from $1,500 to $5,000 each (depending on size, pressure rating, and manufacturer), the total contract value is estimated between roughly $100,000 and $300,000. The lower end assumes smaller, lower‑pressure valves at the lower price tier; the higher end reflects larger, high‑pressure units and any associated travel/delivery costs. Payment terms (two‑thirds after purchase, one‑third on delivery) also influence cash flow but not the overall contract ceiling.
