Laboratory testing for sexually transmitted infections

The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute intends to extend its contract with Center for Disease Detection to provide laboratory services for 18 months from 7/1/2025 to 12/31/26 while a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) is completed. The contract provides funding for laboratory testing for detection of reportable sexually transmitted infections among at-risk persons in selected community settings outside of New York City. The samples are collected by local health departments and community-based organizations and tested on behalf of New York State. A competitive procurement for this service was not feasible due to delays in the procurement process.
