Diesel Injection Pumps

The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS & IMF) is issuing a Notice of Intent to award a sole‑source, firm‑fixed‑price contract to Fairbanks Morse, LLC for the overhaul, calibration, testing, and re‑installation of 16 diesel fuel injection pumps (OEM‑specified) for its emergency diesel generator. The work includes detailed inspection, refurbishment, testing, documentation, and final delivery of the refurbished pumps back to the Government. Contractor must be SAM‑registered, have experience with high‑pressure naval fuel systems, and hold a Confidential Facility Security Clearance to handle Restricted Data. • Refurbish, calibrate, and test 16 fuel injection pumps between 11 Nov 2026 – 19 Feb 2027. • Perform additional shipboard work on the Emergency Diesel Generator from 8 Mar 2028 – 8 Apr 2028, including removal and installation of pumps, nozzles, and high‑pressure lines. • Submit multiple CDRL reports (hazardous material, condition found, acceptance test, work completion) with rapid turn‑around (24 hr to 5 days).
