COTS ARC RATED CLOTHING

The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified sources and capability statements from providers capable of supplying Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Arc Rated Clothing. The contract is anticipated to be a five-year contract structured as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a one-year base period and four consecutive one-year option periods for renewal, starting on October 1, 2026. The RFI seeks information regarding suppliers who can support an integrated punchout ordering procedure to streamline procurement. • The clothing must comply with specific standards and regulations, including ASTM F1506-2015, F1959/F1959M-2015, D6413-99, and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.331-.335 and 1910.269. • Suppliers must demonstrate their ability to supply COTS arc-rated clothing meeting the specified standards. • The RFI also seeks information on the supplier's capability to provide firm-fixed pricing, support a five-year term agreement, and provide compliance certifications for testing standards as deliverables. • The submission deadline is Tuesday, August 11, 2026, and the contract is anticipated to start on October 1, 2026.
