Description
The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a consultant to develop a strategic business plan for Eaglecrest Ski Area, a special revenue fund operation of the city. The plan should guide Eaglecrest's transition to a self-supporting year-round mountain recreation area. The consultant will analyze summer development opportunities, estimate development and operating costs, and develop a ski lift modernization plan. The project goal is to determine and plan for a more robust and diversified revenue stream beyond a short winter ski season. The consultant will provide written monthly progress reports and participate in weekly online meetings with the city's project contract administrator.
