Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Additional Design of a Dedicated Outside Air System to the Current Full Design for the Addition/Alteration of Bldg. 2245 at March Air Reserve Base, CA

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District intends to award a sole source out-of-scope modification to Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. to perform the full design for the Addition/Alteration of Bldg. 2245, Squadron Operations Facility, at March Air Reserve Base, CA. The out-of-scope modification will require the A/E contractor to add design scope to the existing full design effort to incorporate the addition of a Dedicated Outside Air System (DOAS) within the Building 2245. The key aspects of this project include: • Designing a Dedicated Outside Air System (DOAS) that works in parallel with the main HVAC • Rerouting and adding select ductwork to accommodate all spaces within the facility • Reconstructing the screening wall on the exterior • Integrating the DOAS design into the full overall design for the renovation of the facility This project requires a company with the capability to provide engineering services, particularly in the design of HVAC systems and building alterations.
