Maintenance Dredging, Kennebec River, Kennebec Maine

The US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is seeking a contractor to perform maintenance dredging on three sections of the Lower Kennebec River in Maine to support the launch and testing of new surface combatants at Bath Iron Works. The scope includes removal of approximately 80,000 cubic yards of clean sand (30,000 cy required material and 50,000 cy over‑depth material) from the Doubling Point, Bath Reach, and Popham Beach areas, and placement of dredged material in designated in‑river and near‑shore disposal sites. Work is expected to take 3–4 weeks within a window from 1 Dec 2026 to 15 Feb 2027.
