Description
The Shelby County Board of Education is seeking a qualified contractor to design, supply, install, test, and commission a complete audio‑visual sound system for its Board Auditorium. The scope includes provision of speakers, amplifiers, digital mixing consoles, video displays, cabling, mounting hardware, and a 5‑year warranty, as well as all installation and commissioning services required to make the system fully operational. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price, expected to run for six months, and requires extensive bonding and insurance coverage.
• Provide and install 12‑inch indoor speakers, 8‑inch 2‑way speakers, DSP amplifiers, rack‑mount digital mixer, remote stage box, LED video wall panels, 43‑inch 4K TV, fiber‑optic HDMI cabling, and associated mounting hardware.
• Deliver a minimum 5‑year warranty and perform complete system testing, commissioning, and user training.
• Must meet all certification, bonding (5 % bid bond, 100 % performance bond), and insurance requirements; local‑preference credit available for qualifying Shelby‑County businesses.
