El Paso County Ysleta Annex Community Kitchen

The El Paso County is seeking a qualified contractor to construct a new community kitchen at the Ysleta Annex. The project includes the construction of a single-story, 12,000-square-foot administrative building with a commercial kitchen, private offices, open workspaces, storage areas, break rooms, and restrooms. The scope of work also includes site improvements, parking facilities, site lighting, and landscaping. The contractor will be responsible for completing the project within the estimated budget of $5,000,000 to $6,000,000. The project is expected to be completed within 240 days. Key aspects of the project include: • Construction of the new building in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal codes • Installation and connection of all necessary utilities • Site improvements, including parking facilities designed to meet operational and ADA requirements • Site lighting and landscaping • Compliance with the Texas Government Code, Section 2269, and other applicable laws and regulations The contractor will be selected based on their qualifications, experience, and proposed contract price. The evaluation criteria include the proposed contract amount, experience and past performance of the offeror, experience and qualifications of proposed key personnel, project completion timeline and schedule management, and financial management stability.
