Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to design, permit, and install residential on‑site wastewater treatment systems (OWTS) for homes within the Red Lake Chapter of the Navajo Nation. The contractor must handle removal of existing septic units, conduct soil testing, obtain all required permits, perform site grading, install tanks, risers, distribution boxes, and drainfields, and provide final inspection, as‑built documentation, and operation‑and‑maintenance manuals. All work must be completed by the end of 2026 and comply with Navajo tribal licensing, bonding, insurance, and labor‑preference requirements.
• Full‑service installation of residential OWTS, including demolition of abandoned systems.
• Required engineering design stamped by a PE licensed in AZ, NM, or UT, and all related permitting (wastewater, storm‑water, construction traffic, safety).
• Mandatory submission of sealed cost and technical proposals, with extensive certifications, bid guarantees, performance and payment bonds, and a 6 % Navajo sales tax included in pricing.
