The Norfolk City Public Schools are seeking a qualified medical provider to deliver standby ambulance life‑support services for all varsity, junior varsity, and middle‑school football games. The contractor will act as first‑responders, delivering emergency medical care under the direction of on‑site physicians and athletic trainers. This is a sealed‑bid procurement for a short‑term, event‑based medical transportation service. • Provide a fully equipped “Standby” ambulance with qualified EMT‑Paramedic staff for each football game. • Respond to injuries and medical emergencies on‑field, coordinating with school medical personnel. • Cover all scheduled regular‑season games (JV, varsity, middle‑school) and any postseason/playoff contests. • Must be able to mobilize quickly to game venues throughout Norfolk, VA, and maintain readiness for the duration of each event. • All services are performed under the supervision of the school’s athletic department and follow the district’s safety protocols.
