Source Sought-Food Delivery and Courier Service, HES

The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is seeking vendors who can provide food delivery and courier services to the Havasupai Elementary School (HES) in Supai, Arizona. The school is located in a remote area at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and can only be accessed by foot, horseback, mule, or helicopter. The vendor will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of food and mail/packages to the school, ensuring the safety and security of the goods. The vendor will also need to communicate and coordinate with other contractors, helicopter operators, and school personnel. • The vendor must have experience in food delivery and courier services, particularly in remote areas. • The vendor must have the capability to coordinate complex operations involving refrigerated and non-refrigerated food and mail/package deliveries. • The vendor must have a plan in place to ensure the safety and security of the goods during transportation. • The vendor must have experience working with government agencies and have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database. • The vendor must be able to provide detailed information about their company, including their address, Unique Entity Identifier Number (UEI#), and socioeconomic category.
