Armed Protective Security Officer Services state of Arkansas Pre-Solicitation Notice

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking to extend the ordering period of an existing contract with North American Security, Inc. for Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services throughout the state of Arkansas. The extension is necessary to allow time to finalize the award decision of the competitive follow-on effort and provide adequate time for transition. The current contract is set to expire on June 30, 2026, and the extension will be from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The services required include providing PSO services to protect federal facilities, employees, and visitors. The key aspects of the job include: • Providing PSO services throughout the state of Arkansas • Ensuring the safety and security of federal facilities, employees, and visitors • Responding to terrorist attacks, domestic workplace violence, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and emergency medical situations • Mitigating threats by detecting firearms, and other potential security risks • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise in providing security services.
