BIDDING OPPORTUNITIES Skanska E-J Rockaway WRRF Joint Venture is soliciting cost proposals from New York DBE subcontractors/vendors for the Contract R156-RO2-DB Upgrade of the Main Sewage Pump and Power Distribution Systems at the Rockaway Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility which bids on November 20, 2026. Project Overview: Contractor to complete the upgrade and replacement of the facility's Main Sewage Pump (MSP) and Power Distribution Systems. Major work includes replacing existing drywell and submersible sewage pumps, force mains, valves, flow metering, associated mechanical systems, and odor control systems; demolishing obsolete pumping equipment; and installing interim pumping systems to maintain uninterrupted plant operations throughout construction. The project also includes replacing the electrical infrastructure, including substations, switchgear, motor control centers, standby generators, instrumentation and controls, SCADA integration, HVAC, architectural and structural modifications, civil site improvements, and public address systems.
